HousMi was created by a group of students from the University of Rochester in April 2019.
Our goal is to provide better housing insight and take away the stress in the process of finding off-campus housing.

Meet The Team
Zichen Zhao
I’m Zichen Zhao, a first-year student planned to major in business and minor in DMS. My role in our team is data collector and analyst, also as consultant in team providing a few basic ideas.
Xianjue Lin
Hi, I am Xianjue Lin. I am in charge of photos material. Taking photo and edit them is my main job. Other than that, I also provide ideas for develop website and online survey. Also, I wrote the future plan for website and fix certain exisiting problems.
Fiona Chen
Hi, I am Fiona. I am the Web Designer and Recording Secretary in our group. During every group meeting, I made sure every vital idea is recorded and compile them into an integrated document. Another responsibility is to construct and update this website with Rey. I constructed the apartment page with filters and price variant, about us, ethical concerns, and document of the group process. I also shot part of apartment pictures for this project.
Zoey Liu
Hi, I'm Zoey. I'm the video editor and graphic designer in our group. I recorded the advertising video and edit it. I also did the logo design. And I gather the housing information such as photos, amenities and reviews .
Rey Zhang
Hello, I am Rey, the visual designer and the interaction designer who mainly charge in the web design and the application design in this project. I designed the app visual and function part and co-operate with Fiona to construct this website. Also, I visited and took photos to different apartments in downtown to document the information of apartments.

Established by a group of students in DMS101 at the University of Rochester, HousMi exists with a goal to provide excellent home leasing services for the UR students. We understand what it feels like to be a guest here and we help our students better assimilate into the local community.
